The film is produced by Regal Films in partnership with Star Cinema and it is distributed by Regal Entertainment Group. The film premiered at the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival on September 20, 2019 and it was the Opening Night film of the festival. The film has been dubbed as the Filipino answer to Goodbye My Love.

Ernest Douglas Vinal (January 10, 1873 – October 30, 1938) was an American lawyer and judge.
Vinal was born in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Joseph Vinal and Martha B. (Grant) Vinal. He attended Norwich University and Harvard Law School, receiving his law degree from Harvard in 1898. He was admitted to the bar in 1898, and practiced law in Hartford.
In 1908, Vinal was appointed judge for the county superior court of Hartford County, Connecticut, and served for 20 years. He was also a member of the Connecticut State Public Utilities Commission from 1917 to 1921.
In 1928, Vinal was appointed to the federal bench for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut by President Calvin Coolidge. He was a judge on the court until his death.
Vinal married Alice May Robinson (1873–1948) in 1904. They had three children.
